    Louise Bantley Stuart, 92, of Grand Junction passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on May 8,2004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Saturday, May 15, 2004, at 11:30 A.M. Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
    Louise was born February 27,1912, to Joseph and Laura Pitts Bantley at Leadville, CO. Shespenther childhood and attended schools in Leadville and Montrose, graduating high school in Montrose. She attended college in Tempe AZ, the Kansas City Conservatoire of Music and Ross Business School in Grand Junction.
    On September 5, 1936, she married Adrian A. Stuart at Montrose, CO. Louise was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the B of RTand UTU Ladies Auxiliary. She and Arian enjoyed spending their summers at their cabin on Grand Mesa and their winters in Mission, TX.
    Surviving Louise are her husband, Adrian; son, Adrian (Ryoko) Stuart of Stirling, AK; daughter, Kathryn Goodale of Grand Junction; grandchildren, Mark (Cheryl) Goodale, Debbie Goodale, Monte Goodale, Lori (Tim) Michie, Sherrie (Scott) Warnke, Donald (Lyia) Stuart, one niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by grandson, Michael Stuart; four sisters and 3 nephews.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Martin Mortuary.

         Greenville - John Ewin Craig, 80, died Thursday, Feb. 19 2004 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital after a lengthly illness.
         Born in Muhlenberg County, Aug. 11, 1923, to the late Raymond A. Craig and Fannie Bell Hudson Craig, he was employed by W.G. Duncan Cole Company and worked in the company store for a period of time. He was employed at Peabody Coal Company Gibralter Mine for 32 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville. He wa a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in the military police. He was a member of Pond River Masonic Lodge #244 F. & A.M. and Madeline Chapter Eastern Star #164.
         Survivors include his wefe of 52 years, Anna Laura Wilkins Criag; three daughters, Deborah (Robert) Dahlin of Birmingham, Ala., Kaye (Michael) Robbins of Greenville and Frances (William) Lavender of Pelham, Ala; and three grandchildren, Mathew, Stephanie an Shannon.
         Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Feb 21 at Gray's Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Midkeff and Mr. C.V. Conatser officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
