  • Burial*: He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, Jo Daviess Co., IL, An obelisk at the grave is marked on four sides with the names of James, his wife, Delinda and their children, Lemuel and Elizabeth. The grave marker shows his age as 62y,4m,10d [birth 30 Nov 1784] and is probably incorrect because he is known to have been born in Nov 1785 from family Bible records.
