Very good design, incredible views just a cool experience I highly recommend for any golfer.
This is a top 5 public course in Texas. I would like to return to this course when the bermuda fairways, greens and rough is green greens up by early March, sometimes sooner and not dormant. In late January, the browns of the grass are not that distinguishable from the surrounding desert and mountains While staying at the Maverick RV Park with a Casita Rally group we were offered the opportunity to rent carts for a tour of the golf course.
The scenery was fabulous. The course layout is amazing. Unfortunately I didn't bring clubs - would love to My wife and I travel to the Big Bend area twice a year. Each time we play this course it gets better and we start talking about playing it again while we're still playing it. Spectacular and different views from every hole. We visited during spring break. The service and food were excellent. The resort is off the beaten path and secluded but worth the extra effort to get there.

In, out, in out, continuously driving it deeper with each thrust.

They are very good in certain situations. Pretty quick because the centre line is almost constant. Mine have seen a good mix of conditions:. I like them, excellent for touring as pointed out but give you enough scope to go off road. Managed km in Himalayas with them on. Get the snakeskin ones for puncture protection. Jose, that tour looks great. We have done a few multi-days and are always looking for inspiration!
The last is from an icy loop round Alladale I did a couple of weeks back. The loose cornering is pretty important to me as a lot of the trails over here are on very loose gravel, so something with very good cornering grip is important, but nice and fast rolling into the bargain if there is such a beast. Maybe the Maxis Crossmarks would be a better bet…. I can stick a tyre on the car over here for less than the bike tyres in the LBS!
They have some Nobby Nics with the snakeskin protection which should be good for the cactus thorns, so I might try those. Bloody hell…they do seem to roll rather well. Next week we will see what the loose gravel cornering is like. Just a quick update…The Nobby Nics have been destroyed already by the lava rock here. That was a bloody expensive test of some new tyres! I personally find the NN rolls really badly compared to others in the Schwalbe range.
I use the 2. I find the Sam rolls well with it having the almost continuous centre band but not much cop for braking on the front, hence the Albert on the front.
